I am not like other photographers who say they have loved photography their entire lives and this was their passion from a young age. To be honest I just started photography at the age of 28. It's something I have thought about for a long time, but thought I could never afford to do it. What really motivated me to start taking pictures was the sudden death of my 24 year old brother about 3 years ago. After he was gone I cherished every picture that was taken of him since the day he was born. I was very scared that time would go on and I would forget what he looked like and the memories we shared together. Of course my two brothers were being tough guys and did not like their picture taken. I am so glad now that I forced them to take the time to do it. I am so blessed with the eye for photography that I want to share my gift with others. You never know when you or your loved one's last day is on earth, so cherish every single moment of your life. Newborn Photo Session- Chicago Children's Photographer

I was so honored to be able to photograph Brooklyn!  Her parents were classmates of mine since I was in kindergarten!  It is crazy how time flies by so quickly!  Welcome to the world Brooklyn!

First Maternity Photo Shoot!!!: Chicago Maternity Photographer

Rock Star Photo Shoot!!!- Chicago Children's Photographer

If you haven't already been able to tell this little man is a friend's son.  He is just so cute and I can't keep my camera away from him!  I told his mom over the weekend he is not even going to know what I look like because I always have the camera in front of my face!  This by far is one of my favorite shoots with him!  He is growing up so fast he is making me feel old!  Enjoy the sneak peak into this urban photo shoot!

I have a great weekend with my mom and stepdad who came up from my hometown to visit me.  One of my mom's favorite thing is gardening, so what better place to take them than the Garfield Park Conservatory!  It is becoming one of my new favorite places to take pictures!  Enjoy my favorite shot of the day!
